Make sure you have talked to Bostig before placing your deposit about scheduling! Turnkeys are extremely popular, and we are usually scheduling 3-6 months out.

Bostig introduced the first turnkey engine swap for vanagons in 2005. A turnkey is completely set up and run tested at Bostig to ensure everything is good to go!  You just need to bolt it to the transmission, bolt it into place, add fluids, plug in the wiring, and fire it up! It's the simplest and easiest way to get a Bostig next to a full install done here. 

We handle engine sourcing and selection, inspection, prep, parts replacement (using the best individual parts for each application), assembly, setup, and run testing. 90% of the conversion will be new, and the longblock will be fit for a long life after passing our inspection and testing.  The last two engines we sourced were 53k and 62k, but both must have been well looked after as their crank endplay numbers, compression, coolant passage condition and cams both presented as good as engines with less than 25k on them!    

The deposit is 20% of the full price. Freight cost is not included. The balance payment is due before shipment. Deposits are non-refundable, but are transferrable.
